This EP project pulls together the Jensen Sportag remix of the title track, as well as our top two winners of our "Yes And No" remix contest from last fall, rounded out by "Let The Dance Begin", a rare track from their first self titled independent release.

Venus Hum will be visiting LA next month for a show at the Hotel Cafe on Monday, Nov. 13th. While in town, Annette will also be appearing on a panel at the Hollywood Reporter/Billboard Magazine Film/TV Conference the following day.

We have a some songs that we wanted to share with you. You can download Heaven and Soul Sloshing (alternative version). Enjoy! Here are a few words from Tony about these tracks.

HEAVEN- This is the first ever recorded Venus Hum track. Annette presented me with a simple cassette version of this tune played on guitar. I passed it on to Kip (he'd never even met Annette at this point!) and he worked up the original programming....he even sampled his mom playing these really nice wine glasses he had on loan from the smoke shop where he was working at the time. When I played it for Annette she loved it- we finished up the track, recording a proper vocal and mixing at my home studio, and before you knew it we were looking for a band name.

SOUL SLOSHING (ALT)- We did this as an experiment...Kip and I just wanted to see if we could make the song weirder, or maybe harder somehow. We presented this to BMG to see if they wanted to release it along side the proper single version and we're told "uh...no". Oh well, it was fun to do anyway- everything doesn't have to be smashing success!!! We thought the fans might like to hear it anyway.
